Our community garden project

Our community garden project supports and engages people in Oldham, particularly those from deprived areas. It involves educational food growing and healthy cooking/eating sessions. This helps reduce social isolation, improve physical and mental health, and encourage community cohesion. Participants gain gardening skills, learn about healthy eating, and create social networks across cultures, enhancing their confidence and sense of belonging. The produce grown is shared among participants.
